Letās jump right in!
š Foodie Spotlight
If you need a KBBQ fix, hereās something special above everyoneās favourite Shaw Centreā¦
8 Korean BBQ was probably my highlight meal of last week!
Their signature 8 Colours Set features eight pork belly flavours from herb-infused to fiery Gochujang alongside hearty stews and Banchan.
While pork is their speciality, USDA Prime and Kagoshima Wagyu are on the menu as well for any beef lovers out there.
With its sleek industrial-chic interior, this spot strikes the perfect balance between premium and relaxed. Expect to spend around $40ā$50⯠per pax (worth the occasional treat! š¤¤)

šļø Top Picks of The Week!
While these are my top picks, Iād love to hear yours by replying to the email with your favourite places for me to try!
Yang Ming Seafood @ Bishan (Link) š¦
This is a family favourite Zi Char restaurant. Youāve gotta try their famous Lobster Chee Cheong Fun: super silky with lots of tender, succulent lobster. Iād go back just for this dish alone. If youāre a seafood lover, this kopitiam spot in Bishan is a must-try.
Pizza Studio Tamaki @ Orchard (Link) š
Tokyoās cult-favourite pizzeria finally arrives in Singapore! Pizza Studio Tamaki is all about artisanal pizzas with a Japanese twist. You can expect chewy, airy crusts and creative toppings. The minimalist space is great for a casual meal!
Hideout Coffee Bar @ Mackenzie Rd (Link) ā
This cafĆ© is your new go-to for strong brews and stacked sandwiches. The vibe is laid-back, the sandwiches (like the Beef Brisket and Tuna Melt) are hearty, and thereās a great selection of teas.
Lo Hey HK Seafood @ Holland Village (Link) š¦
Step into old-school Hong Kong at this new seafood restaurant, complete with handwritten menus and nostalgic dishes. Must-tries include the traditional soya sauce duck and ātyphoon shelterā stir-fried crab. Thereās even an alfresco area for pets!
šļø Whatās Newsworthy
Wanna know where GāDragon and IāDLE get them buns from? š
The famous Standard Bun pop-up has arrived in Suntec City (till 3 Aug) and Bugis Junction (till 14 July), 10amā8pm daily. Expect crisp, fluffy buns in over 25 flavours like the cult-fave Mocha Bun, the salty-sweet Salt Mocha, and loaded options like Garlic Cream Cheese and Potato Cheese.
Iād recommend pairing your bun with their signature Ice Cream Latte - a hot latte topped with soft-serve (yum!)
Happy bun-hunting!
